About me

Hello and welcome!

I have always loved baking for as long as I can remember. Be it the mudcakes I have fed to my dolls, cakes I have baked together with my grandma or the new creations I have tried out on my family members—my confections have never failed to bring a smile to my own face as well to the people around me.

It did not take long after I had graduated for me to decide that this was what I wanted to do with my life. I went to pastry school in Lübeck, Germany and accomplished my apprenticeship at the renowned local business Niederegger, where I learned a lot more about baking on a professional level as well as the science behind the magic that turns ingredients like sugar and flour into cakes.

Afterwards, I found a lovely little café with a great team where I was able to work closely with the people working the counter to bring the best possible experience to the customers. Due to this focus on communication and organization, I was quickly promoted to lead baker and manager of the kitchen staff. I deeply enjoyed the varied work I got to do in this role—which, in addition to my regular daily baking duties, also included the planning of caterings together with customers, teaching our apprentices and more.

After having lived in Germany my whole life, I have now taken the next step and fulfilled my dream of moving to beautiful Sweden. I hope my cakes can continue to bring smiles to lots of people here!
